Bio

Farida finished her PhD in Computer Engineering from Cairo University. She obtained her M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the same university. She worked as a lecturer assistant and a teaching assistant in Computer Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt. Her teaching experience included teaching tutorials and labs in twelve different under-graduate courses. She is now a Lecturer and she participated in teaching two graduate courses Machine Intelligence and Technical Writing.

Her main research interest is machine intelligence. Her master research was in Graph Modeling. Her PhD was about Ranking for Spoken Content Transcriptions. In addition to that, she has interest in Software Engineering and Development and e-Learning. She also worked as a research assistant in cloud computing applications research group at Qatar University.

She also previously worked as a part-timer in software and e-learning content development. She is self-motivated, reliable and can work with minimal supervision.
