Eman Riad is a Lecturer of Laobr and Employment Laws at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, Egypt. She graduated from the same faculty in 2004 with very good with honors degree. In 2005 and 2006, she obtained her Masters Degree in the Private, International Investment and Commercial Laws. In 2006, she was appointed as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University.
In 2008, Eman got her LL.M. in the Law and Government with concentration on employment & labor laws from the American University, Washington College of Law, Washington DC, USA. In 2010, Dr. Riad was selected as a visiting scholar at the Center of Law, Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.
In 2016, Eman completed her PhD dissertation focusing on the consequences of transfer and dissolution of undertakings on employees' rights. The study sets a comparison between the employment/labor laws of Egypt, USA, EU Directives and UK Transfer of Undertakings, Protection of Employees Regulations (TUPE).
Eman is also a partner in Riad & Riad Law Firm. She has more than ten years of experience in providing general legal advice on various aspects and handling day to day legal matters.
