Eman Riad is a Lecturer of Laobr and Employment Laws at the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, Egypt. She graduated from the same faculty in 2004 with very good with honors degree. In 2005 and 2006, she obtained her Masters Degree in Private, International Investment and Commercial Laws.
In 2008, Eman got her LL.M. in the Law and Government with concentration on employment & labor laws from the American University, Washington College of Law, Washington DC, USA. In 2010, she was selected as a visiting scholar at the Center of Law, Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.
In 2016, Eman completed her PhD dissertation focusing on the legal consequences of transfer and dissolution of undertakings on employees' rights. The study sets a comparison between the employment/labor laws of Egypt, USA, EU Directives and UK - Transfer of Undertakings, Protection of Employees Regulations (TUPE).
