M.Sc. (Pesticide’s minor), with specialization in movement of pesticides in Egypt soils and Ph.D. with specialization in Bio pesticides from natural marine algae
Received the Canada-Egypt-McGill Agricultural Response Program scholarship, McGill University, Canada during M.Sc. study and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholarship, Bonn University, Germany for Ph.D. Study.
I have been on the faculty of Agriculture at Cairo University since 1990 as administrator, 1997 as assistant lecturer, 2003 as lecturer and 2009 as associate professor and 2017 as professor in the Department of Economic Entomology and Pesticides.
teaches in 4 graduate courses: Insecticides Toxicology, Environmental pollution with Pesticides; Special Topics in Biomarkers and bio-bioindicators, Bioassay of pesticides, and integrated pest management. teaches in 3 post graduate courses: Fate of pesticides in the environment, Pesticide’s formulation, and Bioassay of pesticides. Served as supervisor for 6 postgraduate students, plus 2 current and served as student’ adviser for 12 undergraduate students (graduate project)
Eman’s research program includes two main areas: (1) Bio pesticides and (2) environmental toxicology and environmental chemistry of pesticides. research area is focused primarily on resistance and effect of insecticides on biochemical aspects of insect, including investigations of their spectrum of activity, metabolism, besides Natural products and its biological effects and Pesticides residues and pollutants analysis. scientific publications include a book “environmental pollution with pesticides”, 19 articles and 2 online course “Introduction to Biological Sciences”, Egyptian E-learning University and Pesticides pollution, Faculty of agricultural, Cairo Univ.

Worked as Quality manager of the Environmental Chemistry & Natural Resources Lab. (ISO/ IEC/17025 accredit), Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University.
Worked for a long time on development and quality of the e-courses in the higher education and distance learning. She has been on the e-learning center at Cairo University since 2006 and served as director of the e-learning center in Cairo University for Twelve years, since 2009 She is the manager of the e-learning project “Improving the quality of using ICT in education” in Cairo University and director of the e-learning center in Cairo University.
