Part-time specialist of plastic surgery in Red Sea Hospital, Hurghada, Red Sea Governorate, Egypt. Duties held included management of cases of plastic surgery casualties including burns, general reconstructive, hand and maxillofacial cases.

Plastic Surgery experience:
Achieved via working as a resident and then as an assistant lecturer in a department that is a main plastic surgery centre in Cairo University Hospitals. Took part in the care of trauma patients and out patient clinic patients; with both emergency and elective plastic surgery cases.
Also worked for 6 months in the pediatric plastic surgery department doing mainly cleft lip and palate surgeries.
Hand surgery: MSc. thesis was about ‘extensor tendon repair and rehabilitation methods’. MD thesis is about the ‘use of tendon transfer surgery in reanimation of the thumb after nerve injuries’. Gained experience in trauma department with different cases of cut-wrist, tendon injuries, nerve injuries, ... etc
Maxillofacial: Have done different types of mandibular fracture fixation, assisted in many cases of other facial fractures.
Breast surgery: Have done cases of augmentation and reduction mammoplasties, mastopexies, gynecomastia, and cases of breast reconstruction using TRAM and LD flaps.
Reconstructive: Have done, and assisted in, cases of coverage (other than those involving microvascular techniques) after burns, bedsores, trauma, ...etc
Aesthetic surgery: Have done, and assisted in, breast aesthetic surgeries, open rhinoplasties, ocular plastic surgeries, abdominoplasties, body contouring, ... etc. In addition to in-clinic cases of cosmetic Botulinum toxin and filler injection.
Pediatric plastic surgery: Done cases of cleft lip and palate and hypospadias.
Teaching Experience
I have an excellent experience in the preparation and teaching of surgical courses, including the use of computers and technology in the teaching process.
