CAREER STATEMENT:
As a professional, experienced dentist and academic lecturer. I honour the opportunity to consciously contribute to the needs of universities and students in Australia today. It is therefore my pleasure to provide you with a summary of my relevant skills and abilities within the teaching field, which include ,but are not limited to, the following, for your consideration.
PROFESSIONAL ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
As an Academic teaching staff member my duties have included:

helping my students understand and learn various academic subjects. I had to be patient and understanding, as well as be able to Assist, Evaluate, Motivate, Develop and Integrate students in learning.
ASSIST:
My main job responsibility was to assist students academically in whichever subject(s) the students are seeking improvement. Not everyone learns the same way, so before I could assist, I had know the students a little.
EVALUATE:
After tutoring for a while, I had to go back and evaluate students' progress in order to see where improvements can be made. I had to evaluate my teaching skills to make sure my students are receiving enough attention and assistance.
MOTIVATE:
I always tried to motivate my students and provide them with confidence. Students need to have positive attitudes to feel successful and get work done.
DEVELOP:
I helped students develop study skills specifically tailored to their needs for when there was not someone around to help them out.
INTEGRATE:
My job was not only teaching students what to learn, but also teaching them how to learn. I provided my students with study skills and good study habits, as well as breaking complex issues down so as not to be overwhelmed.
In addition to the above, I had to maintain and manage any inappropriate behaviour of students within a teaching environment.

1 Currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (to graduate semester 1 – 2014), also submitted an application to start my PhD in semester 2 – 2014.
2 ADC certificate after passing The Australian Dental Council (ADC) Examination for overseas qualified dentists. (Nov 2011)
3 POST GRADUATE DEGREE: Masters Degree of Science (M.D.S.) in Oral Biology 3 –year- program including an extensive study of Oral Pathology, Oral Histology, Oral Physiology, Human Dentition, Comparative Dental Anatomy, Embryology, General Anatomy, General
Histology, Genetics and Electron Microscopy. My Thesis was titled “Histological and immunohistochemical study of apoptotic changes in pulp and periodontal ligaments of normal and diabetic adult albino rats” (AUG 2010)
