Ophthalmic endoscopy has proved to be a useful adjunctive technique to
enhance and extend surgical control, especially in the retroirideal/ciliary
body area, when standard microscopic imaging is limited by ocular media
opacification. Ophthalmic endoscopy broadens diagnostic assessment and
surgical treatment across specialties. This powerful new technique has
been embraced by ophthalmologists across specialties.
