 Lecturer of Pediatric Oncology

National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, Egypt.

Dr Hamdy graduated with a Bachelor degree of Medicine & Surgery (M. B., B. Ch.) from the Faculty of Medicine (Kasr El-Aini School of Medicine) at Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt in 2007.

 

In 2012, she completed residency of pediatric oncology at the pediatric oncology department of National Cancer Institute, Cairo, Egypt. With a Master degree of pediatric oncology.

 

Since 2013, Dr Hamdy is Senior Registrar at the Pediatric Haematology/Oncology department of the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt - 57357 (CCHE – 57357).

 

Since 2015 Dr Hamdy is an assistant lecturer of pediatric oncology the pediatric oncology department of National Cancer Institute, Egypt.

 

Dr Hamdy has participated in several local and international conferences and workshops in Paediatrics, Haematology & Oncology.

 

Dr Hamdy’s publications include: pediatric Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, A retrospectivr study of 36 cases (Experience of National cancer institute, Cairo university), presented in the 30th Annual meeting of the Histiocyte society, Toronto, Canada at 2014.

Dr Hamdy has attended a workshop of 1 month duration at ST. JUDE GLOBAL INFECTIOUS DISEASES at 2019.

Dr Hamdy obtained a degree of Medical Doctorate in Pediatric Oncolgy and assigned as lecturer of Pediatric Oncology at 2021.

since 2022 Dr Hamdy is a Consultant of Pediatric Oncology at CCHE, Egypt till todate.

  • European society of Oncology master class at Ljubljana, Slovenia, May 2014.
  • 30th Annual meeting of the Histiocyte society, Toronto, Canada at 2014.
  • Anti-infectives perceptorship  and stewardship program ,CCHE, March 2016.
