I received my B.Sc. degree and pre-M.Sc. diploma (both in operations research) from Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, Egypt in 2005 and 2006, respectively. In 2008, I received my M.Sc. degree (by research) from University of New South Wales, Australia. I was awarded my PhD degree from the Australian National University in 2013. During 2013 and 2014, I was a Post-Doctorate research fellow at University of New South Wales, Australia. Currently, I am a Lecturer at the Operations Research and Decision Support department, Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University. My research interests include mechanism design, (evolutionary) game theory, social choice, prediction markets, air traffic management, agent-based modeling, complex networks and adaptive systems, and optimization.
