Volkswagen foundation has agreed to support our summer school in collaboration with University of Goettingen, Germany. . The summer school will be conducted in Cairo University(Faculty of Vet.Medicine) ,Egypt in order to increase the preparedness and implementation of novel technologies for identification and control of imported and endemic diseases as well as making young scientists ready for working together in solving common problems. Twenty-five Ph.D students will be invited to the summer school, which will focus on missing research gaps in imported and neglected infectious diseases research. Distinguish speakers from USA, UK, Italy, Germany, Senegal, Sudan and Egypt will present research ideas in addition to interactive session for the student to discuss their research projects,Practical Training on Point of care Diagnosis using RPA and Minion Whole genome sequencing will be presented at the virology Department at September,16-27,2018.
