Currently holding the position of Professor of Urology at Cairo University. Dr Mosharafa graduated (excellent with honors) from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine; Master of Science then Doctor of Medicine in Urology. Holder of the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and Fellowship trained in Urologic Oncology at Indiana University, with special expertise in Retroperitoneal Lymph Node Dissection, major uro-oncologic procedures and reconstructive surgery.
Dr Mosharafa is Member of the Scientific Council of the Egyptian Fellowship Board of Urology. He has qualification and experience in Higher Education Management, and is Associate Editor of the African Journal of Urology.
