Dr. Ghanem is Professor of Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering. Dr. Ghanem is teaching courses of hydraulics and advanced hydraulics. He has supervised more than 25 M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses. His research interests include water use efficiency, solar desalination, integrated agri-aquaculture systems and environmental engineering. Dr. Ghanem has more than 20 years experience as a consultant with experience in water resources and environmental impact studies. He has offered consulting and training for water and environmental projects in Egypt,Canada,Saudi Arabia, Iraq,Yemen, Algeria, Nigeria and Uganda. Projects include Water Resources Management, Flood Protection, Irrigation System Design and Improvement, Drainage, Groundwater Modeling and Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, Water Resources Protection, Environmental Action Plans, Water Quality Management, Development and Application of Hydraulic and Hydrologic Software.
