About Prof. Amal Wagih

Prof. Dr. Amal is a full professor in library and information science at Cairo University. She received her PhD degree from Cairo University with the joint supervision of the School of Library and Information Science (SILS) North Carolina in Chapel Hill, USA. She has obtained many excellence grants, such as the Fulbright grant from the US Department of State at UNC Chapel Hill, USA. Her research focuses on the intersection of technology and libraries, with a particular interest in the quality of library services. i.e., QR codes, drone technology, and artificial intelligence. She has published more than 25 articles in prestigious academic journals, including international ones, and has presented her work at international conferences. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Amal is actively involved in mentoring and supervising graduate students, guiding them in their research projects, and helping them develop their professional skills.She conducted many workshops and seminars at prominent associations in the library and information fields. Her expertise in the field has led her to be actively involved in professional organizations, serving on committees, and contributing to the advancement of library science.
