Professor Dr Amal Fathy Radwan, Editor-in-Chief

Dr Amal Fathy Radwan is a Professor of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Cairo University. She is also the former Chief of the Ultrasonography Unit in the Internal Medicine Department at Cairo University. Dr Amal is a Scientific Head Member of the Ultrasound Diploma of Arab Institute for Continuing Professional Development. She was awarded the Diplome de Francais Medical (CCIP) in 2008.

Dr Radwan is also a Senior Consultant of gastroenterology and a member of the professional diploma in clinical nutrition from the National Nutrition Institute (NNI). She was a member of the Egyptian Universities Promotion committee (EUPC) for the position of Professor of Internal Medicine from 2012 until 2015. She was also a member of the Egyptian Universities promotion committee as an Associate Professor from 2016 to 2019.  

Dr Radwan was a staff member board of the Egyptian Fellowship of Nutrition from 2014 to 2016 and was an Ultrasound Clinical Instructor and Sonographer in Egyptian Medical Syndicate. She has been teaching internal medicine at the Egyptian Fellowship of Internal Medicine since 2008 and teaching nutrition at the Egyptian Fellowship of Nutrition since 2014.

Dr Radwan is the General Secretary of the Egyptian Society of Internal Medicine (ESIM), which is the official society for The Egyptian Journal of Internal Medicine.
