Dr. Amira Aboalnaga attended college at Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University. She was graduated at the top of the class 2007, ranked the first among 500 students with grade excellent with honours. She completed her 3-years residency program at the department of Orthodontics, Cairo University, during which she completed her MSc of Orthodontics. Her MSc thesis Project was entitled “Correlation Between Temporomandibular Disorders and The Incidence of Various Types of Malocclusions: Cone Beam Computed Tomography Study", which gave her the specific skills needed to diagnose and treat TMD patients. She completed her PhD in Orthodontics on April 2018, and currently assigned as a lecturer of orthodontics, in the orthodontic department of Cairo university. She became a member of the royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh after passing their exam on March 2019. She has two publications on the TMD & malocclusion inter-relationship.
