Dr Ahmed Elshatory is a lecturer of Clinical Toxicology in Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology in Cairo school of medicine in Egypt. His PhD in Clinical Toxicology was awarded in December 2015 after finishing his Master Degree in Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology in 2007, PhD prerequisite courses and his research project: The protective effect of N Acetyl cysteine on Methotrexate Induced Hepatic Toxicity and Geneotoxicity. Dr Ahmed has experience in the field of molecular Genetics and trained in DNA Extraction, PCR technique and Analytical toxicological procedures such as Color tests, Toxi-lab, immunoassay and HPLC. He is participating in teaching the clinical toxicology curriculum for the undergraduate and post graduate medical students and actively participating in the weekly seminars and the yearly conference hold by Department of Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology. Dr Ahmed has a good clinical experience in the field of acute medical emergency which gained during his work in the Accident and Emergency Department managing patients with cardiac, hepatic, renal and drugs poisoning complaints.Dr Ahmed is American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support provider with skills in interpreting ECG.  Dr Ahmed is scientifically curious, hard worker and has the team spirit.
