Ahmed Ibrahim Samir Khalil received his BSc degree from the Electronics and Communications Engineering (EECE)
Department of Cairo University, Egypt in 2011.

Currently, he is a teaching assistant with the same department where he is a part of research group that works on developing SPARC compatible processor at the Solid State Lab (SSL).

Mr. Khalil is a computer architecture engineer in the Egypt GPU (EGYGPU) group aiming to develop and fabricate the first GPU in the Middle East.

Mr. Khalil is currently working on M.Sc. Thesis “Open GL ES 1.1 Compliant High-Performance Low-Power Graphical Processing Unit”. The purpose of the dissertation is developing OpenGL Compliant 3D Engine IP and integrating it with the CUSPARC processor.

Mr. Khalil's graduation project was “UMTS optimization tool". This is prototype software tool aims to enhance the 3G network performance through solving the system inconsistencies & tuning the network parameters.
