Open GL ES 1.1 Compliant High-Performance Low-Power Graphical Processing Unit

Mr. Khalil is currently working on M.Sc. Thesis “Open GL ES 1.1 Compliant High-Performance Low-Power Graphical Processing Unit”. The purpose of the dissertation is developing OpenGL Compliant 3D Engine IP and integrating it with the CUSPARC processor.

EGYGPU

Mr. Khalil is computer architecture engineer in the EGYGPU group. This work includes:-
        • Developing High performance GPU architecture compliance with the OpenGL standard.
        • Making a fabrication on UMC 130-nm technology, and testing the fabricated chip.
        • Making the OpenGL driver for interfacing and testing the GPU.

CUSPARC

Mr. Khalil is a digital design engineer in the Solid State Laboratory (SSL), EECE department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt. This work includes
       • Adding new peripherals to the processor to be compliant with IEEE-1149.1 standard (JTAG).
       • Designing a scan chains to enhance the observability and controllability of the CUSPARC              processor.
