Bio

Ahmed Abdelgawad is teaching assistant of Criminal Law at the Law School, Cairo University. Ahmed has graduated in May 2005 with a grade of Excellent with Honoraria and he ranked first on his class. He obtained two diplomas in Criminal Law and Private Law in 2006 and 2007 respectively (together equivalent to Masters in Law).

Ahmed is currently undergoing the PhD program of criminal law at Cairo University. The title of his thesis is "The General Theory of Capital Markets' Crimes". In preparation thereof, Ahmed has spent one year as visiting researcher at Queen Marry University in London, United Kingdom from April 2010 until March 2011.
