I started my career in orthopedics in 2004 as a resident in Cairo University Hospitals till 2007.
Then, I worked as a clinical demonstrator from August 2008 to January 2009. Then, I was promoted to "assistant lecturer" till June 2014 when Iwas finally promoted to "lecturer" of Orthopedics.
I had my Master's degree in Orthopedics in 2008, and My MD in 2014
I love to do challenging cases like complex trauma, primary hip and knee arthroplasty and spinal infections and deformities.
My MD thesis topic was "Anterior debridement and fusion for treatment of spondylodiscitis: a comparative study between anterior and posterior instrumentation" was a great challenge to me to have this number of patients (about 30) for this rare disease, thanks to my mentor Dr. Ihab M Emran, pofessor of Orthopedics and spine surgery.
