Bio
Abdelrahman graduated from Cairo University, Egypt with B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Structural Engineering. In addition, he has M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA. jHe oined Dr. Guddati's computational mechanics group in 2017 with an interdisciplinary experience in both academic and professional settings. His research spans different fields in computational solid mechanics, e.g. inverse problems and their application in
biomedical imaging and geophysics, domain decomposition methods, preconditioning linear solvers, and metamaterial. Beside research, he enjoys hiking and cooking.
