Goal

• To introduce students to the role and function of project management.
• To understand the need and techniques for managing users and user expectations.
• To provide a solid background in project management methodology for independent project work either as a project manager or project stage manager and use SW tools for project management support.

Contents

:                             

• Project variables, project lifecycle, change management, risk management, quality management, procurement management, roles and responsibilities,  planning, project interfaces,  communications, managing project teams,  documentations, TPM, AFP, xPM, critical path, critical chains, project managing techniques through the use of Microsoft Project 2003.
• Examples of projects from various fields will be used during exercises in individual student mode as it is typical for training run by large established companies.
