Goal

• To introduce students to the roles and functions of project management.
• To understand the need and techniques for managing users and user expectations.
• To provide a solid background in project management methodology for independent project work either as a project manager or project stage manager or to use SW tools for project management support.

Contents

• Business case, feasibility study, project charter, WBS, project  variables, scope, cost, time, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, integration, project organization and planning,  project templates. Analysis/Software requirements. Design, development, testing, training, documentation, deployment, post implementation review.
• Examples of projects from various fields will be used during exercises in individual student mode as it is typical for training run by large established companies.
